About Us
Legal Strategy provides consultative advice and guidance to both individuals and attorneys, who are seeking case management optimization for increased productivity and streamlining of adjudicating disputes more cost-effectively.
For Attorneys: Our strategists are experienced and licensed attorneys, who have extensive backgrounds in case management from small family practices to complex litigation firms. After assessing your firm’s needs, our consultants work with you and your staff to determine what organizational modifications may be required to significantly impact your overall productivity, without negatively impacting your current workflow. We listen to your concerns, and develop long-range plans that implement highly structured procedures designed to promote positive day-to-day movement of your active cases, allowing you to focus on being a lawyer.
Our Strategic Case Managers can assist you with any of the following:
participating in initial client meeting, and all follow up tasks attendant thereto, such as:
drafting first letter to client outlining the strategy for the case
follow up communications with the client who has not yet retained your firm
devising all automated triggers related to that particular file.
weekly status meetings with you and your staff to review progress of active and inactive case list;
weekly status meetings to review account receivables;
flagging files that require court intervention on an issue (e.g., motion to compel)
assuring timely compliance with mandatory disclosures requirements
review of incoming/outgoing discovery requests to assure completeness of responses, and suggest motions to compel, when necessary strategic review file for completeness in advance of mediation, hearing or trial.
For Individuals: Our strategists also work with individuals, who are in the beginning, pre-litigation phases of a dispute, before attorneys have become involved, and provide them with objective roadmaps to what their case may look like. We listen to our clients’ goals and objectives, and discuss multiple strategies to help them achieve those goals and objectives. We are extremely mindful of costs and expenses relating to litigation, and counsel our clients to weigh the costs/benefits of their plan. Our strategists often work with our clients’ attorneys or other advisors, developing and implementing strategic plans to their dispute. While many attorneys approach legal disputes in a cookie-cutter fashion, the reality is that each case is unique and has its
For both individuals and attorneys: We are also extensively experienced in the collection and analysis of cell phone records, when used in both civil and criminal cases. Most recently, our consultants successfully used geolocation data to demonstrate cohabitation in an alimony termination case, where the ex-spouse receiving alimony vehemently denied that she was living with her paramour. After subpoenaing the cell phone records and analyzing the latitude and longitude coordinates, we were able to design demonstrative exhibits for the Court, which incontrovertibly refuted her denials. The case settled on the second day of trial.
Consultative Services:
Analysis of Cell Phone Records
Cohabitation/Termination of Alimony - In many states, cohabitation is often a factor in terminating your alimony obligation. If you are paying your ex-spouse alimony, and you believe that he/she is living with someone, you may be entitled to a reduction in or termination of your alimony obligation. Our strategists can work with you or your attorney directly to collect and analyze the evidence that will definitively prove cohabitation, without the expense involved in hiring an investigator.
Cheating - Do you suspect your spouse is having an affair? Analysis of cell phone geolocation data will unequivocally precisely reveal the whereabouts of your spouse. Our consultants have extensive expertise in obtaining, reviewing and analyzing the data contained in these reports, and will assist you and/or your attorney in proving your claims.
Mediation - Mediation is generally the least costly, non-adversarial, method of obtaining a divorce with the assistance of one neutral facilitator. Mediators provide the parties with a safe atmosphere, professional leadership, and issue specific guidance focused on uncovering the pertinent divorce issues, and resolving them with less emotional turmoil and financial expense than litigation.
One attitude that cannot be tolerated in medicine is a lack of care or apathy. We feel physicians should exercise the same standard of care toward their accumulation of assets, property and wealth.
