HSBC is well established in the Middle East but Dubai branches are only in Bur Dubai (parking is almost impossible), or Jebel Ali, and there's a customer service centre in Mercato Mall on Jumeirah Beach Rd (which means they'll smile, offer to help you, and then tell you to go to one of the other branches to do whatever it is you need to do).
